Product Questions & Answers

What kind of stuff is this elbow good for resistin'? I'm gonna be usin' it around some pretty harsh chemicals.
Question by: Tony P on Mar 29, 2026, 8:53 AM
Dura-Kote plating on this Eaton Aeroquip adapter gives it superior corrosion resistance, which is what makes it suitable for chemical processing applications, along with marine, military, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and even off-shore drilling.

what kind of environments is this elbow rated for? we run equipment near saltwater and chemical exposure pretty regular and need something that ain't gonna rust out on us
Question by: Todd M on Apr 24, 2025, 5:12 PM
Carbon steel with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance, which is exactly why it gets spec'd into marine, offshore drilling, and chemical processing setups. That plating is doing real work in those kinds of environments, not just surface protection for looks. For regular saltwater and chemical exposure, that combination was built with those conditions in mind.

got a tight spot on a hose run. is this the kind of elbow that lets you clock it where you need it?
Question by: Ray F on Sep 5, 2025, 10:10 AM
Being a 90 degree adjustable elbow, it gives you some flexibility to orient the fitting during install so you can line up the hose or tube run without fighting the angle.
