Running at 2000 PSI requires strict cooling breaks. Over any five minute window you can only operate the unit for thirty seconds at that pressure level before letting it cool down completely. Operating at a lower 500 PSI extends that run time to a full minute.

At 500 PSI it is rated for 2.25 GPM, and at 2000 PSI it is rated for 1.35 GPM with the .250 inch gear pump.

At 500 psi, you get about one minute of run time over any five minute stretch. Drop it to half a minute if you're pushing up near 2000 psi. After that it needs to cool down before you run it again. This is a standard duty motor, so it's built for intermittent work, not continuous operation. If your job calls for longer run cycles, you'd want to look at a heavier duty setup.
