Is this coupler compatible with standard air hoses?

For air handling, it's made for industrial interchange series fittings. It’s got a 1/2 inch coupling size.

It is the female half in the Industrial Interchange (G style) series, and the thread connection is 1/2 male NPT with a 1/2 inch coupling size.

got a half inch male NPT port on my compressor manifold, will this coupler thread right on without needing any adapters?
