Got a tight 90-degree turn in a 10,000 psi hydraulic line and need something that won't add a bunch of extra fittings to make it work. This street elbow from Enerpac gonna do the trick?
Question by: Connie P on Jul 3, 2025, 9:06 PM
For that kind of tight routing situation, a street elbow is exactly what you want. Both ends are 3/8" NPTF male, so it threads directly into a female port on one side and accepts a female fitting or coupler on the other without needing an adapter in between. Rated to 10,000 psi, it holds up in the kind of high-force hydraulic work where a standard fitting would be undersized. The NPTF thread form gives you a pressure-tight mechanical seal, which matters a lot when you're running lines at that pressure range.

trying to swap out an old elbow fitting, is this one 3/8 nptf male on both ends or am I reading it wrong
Question by: Janet R on Sep 10, 2025, 10:30 AM
Thread-wise, it is a street elbow with 3/8 inch NPTF male threads on both ends, so it fits a male-to-male 3/8 NPTF connection.
