Both sides show 1-1/4" tube OD, but the threads are different on each end. That ain't a mistake on the listing, is it?

Correct, both ports share the same 1-1/4" tube OD, but they're not identical ends. One side carries a 1-11/16-12 thread with a 1.024 drill size, and the other runs a 1-5/8-12 thread with a 1.078 drill size. That's the whole point of this adapter, to bridge those two different thread standards while keeping the tube OD consistent across both connections.
