Got a 2-inch pipe run with a little angular offset at the connection point, will this joint handle that without leaking down the road?

Angular misalignment up to 4 degrees per end is within spec for this joint, so a modest offset at the connection shouldn't be a problem. The bulged straight-through design is what makes that flexibility possible. Just make sure your external supports like hangers and guides are in place, because the joint itself isn't meant to hold the hydraulic lines system together or resist movement along the pipe run.
