got two 5/16 FuelFlex braided fuel hoses i need to join in-line. is this the right fitting or am i missing something

For an equal size hookup, this compression fitting is made to couple 5/16 in FuelFlex to 5/16 in FuelFlex, so it’s the right piece when you’re joining two same diameter FuelFlex lines without stepping up or down in size.
