For a -6 hose dash size, this fitting matches a female SAE 37 degree (JIC) swivel end connection, and it is made as an FLD crimp fitting for hydraulic hose assemblies.

What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have? Running equipment out in the elements and rust has killed more than a few fittings on me.

Carbon steel fittings can be a weak spot in wet or dirty environments, but Eaton put Dura-Kote plating on this one specifically to push back against corrosion. It holds up better than standard zinc plating in harsh conditions, which is why it gets used in demanding hydraulic setups where uptime matters and you can't afford to be swapping fittings out all season.
