trying to match up a fitting i pulled off an A/C hose, is this one the straight female 37 degree flare with -8 hose size?
Question by: Lee B on Jan 14, 2026, 6:32 PM
Match it up by the key identifiers: it is a straight female SAE 37 degree flare fitting in the Eaton Aeroquip E-Z Clip system, with a -8 hose dash size and a 0.75 inch end size on the female end.

these are going into an A/C refrigeration setup on some heavy equipment we run. the hose we're connecting is a -8 dash size. this fitting gonna work for that?
Question by: Steve R on Sep 14, 2025, 12:01 PM
For a -8 hose dash size, you're in good shape. That's exactly what this fitting is rated for, and the 0.75-inch end size lines up with standard connections in A/C refrigeration hose assemblies. The E-Z Clip system it belongs to was built with that kind of application in mind, so fitment on a -8 hose should be straightforward without any modification.
