Product Questions & Answers

got a -16 hose setup, is this straight bulkhead the right dash size for that or am i off a size?
Question by: Scott H on May 28, 2025, 7:10 AM
With a hose dash size of -16, this fitting matches a -16 setup on the hose side, and it’s a straight bulkhead style.

what's the hose dash size on this fitting, and does it hook up to a -16 line?
Question by: Glen M on Jun 26, 2025, 11:47 AM
the hose dash size is -16, so it'll mate up with a -16 hose or line without any adapter needed. The end connecting to the line or hose side is sized accordingly, and the other end runs a UNF male thread for the bulkhead connection.

What kind of stuff is this bulkhead fitting made from?
Question by: Vince H on Jun 9, 2025, 8:34 PM
This straight bulkhead is constructed from carbon steel, so it's plenty durable for hydraulic applications.

what material is this bulkhead fitting made from, and is it gonna hold up in a rougher environment?
Question by: Floyd M on Jun 17, 2025, 2:05 PM
Carbon steel construction on this one, so it's built to take some punishment in demanding conditions. It's part of the Eaton Aeroquip E-Z Clip system for A/C and refrigeration work, and carbon steel gives you solid durability for those kinds of duty cycles. If you're running it somewhere with heavy moisture exposure or corrosive elements, that's worth factoring in, but for general industrial and HVAC-type applications it's a dependable choice.
