trying to swap out a fitting on a -10 A/C hose, is this one the right size on the barb end

For the barb side, it matches a -10 dash size hose and the End Size 1 is 0.625 in with a male barb. That combination is what you want when you are pairing it to a -10 hose in the Eaton Aeroquip E-Z Clip system.
