Will this fitting hold up okay in a hydraulic system for a log splitter?

got a thermoplastic hose in the shop, is this fitting the kind you crimp on for good or can it be taken apart later

Permanent crimp style is the whole point with this one. It is meant to be crimped onto a thermoplastic hydraulic hose using compatible crimp equipment, so it is not a reusable, take-apart style fitting.
