got a -10 hose and need an ORS female end, is this the right crimp fitting or am i mixing things up
Question by: Melvin H on May 30, 2025, 3:50 PM
For a -10 dash size hose connection, this nipple assembly matches that callout and it has a female ORS (O-Ring Face Seal) end with a 1 inch end size. The other end is meant to mate to a line, hose, or tube connection, so it fits the common ORS-to-line style hookup used in hydraulic assemblies.

So, this here is for hooking up some hoses, right? What kinda hoses will fit it?

This Aeroquip crimp fitting is designed for use with hoses that have a -10 dash size. It's a female ORS nipple assembly, so it'll mate with a line, hose, or tube connection.

What's the end type on this fitting, is it actually an ORS configuration, and what size hose does it work with?
Question by: Shane M on Feb 14, 2026, 12:57 PM
The female end is ORS, which stands for O-Ring Face Seal, and the opposite end connects to a line, hose, or tube. It's built for -10 dash size hose and carries a 1-inch end size. Carbon steel construction throughout, so it holds up well in standard hydraulic environments where a secure, leak-resistant joint matters.
