what's the material on this fitting and does it have any kind of coating to keep rust off?

Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating. That plating is specifically there to hold up against corrosion, so you're not dealing with a bare steel fitting that'll start showing rust after a season or two of hard use. got a -10 hose, will this fitting match up or am i barkin up the wrong tree

It’s built for a -10 hose dash size and it’s a 90 degree elbow fitting, so it’s meant to pair with that hose size in a crimp assembly.
