need to know what hose size this takes. and what type of threads on the female end?
Question by: Cindy B on Jul 12, 2025, 12:31 PM
Matching a -10 dash size hose works perfectly for the line side of the elbow. For the female connection, you will find 0.875 UNF threads.

got a -10 hose on the bench. is this the 90 degree elbow that matches that size?
Question by: Lee B on Sep 17, 2025, 1:20 PM
For hose sizing, it’s set up for a -10 hose dash size. It’s a 90 degree elbow fitting, so it’s meant to turn the line while staying in that -10 size range.

what refrigerant is this fitting made to work with, R12 specifically or does it handle other types too
Question by: Bobby H on Sep 18, 2025, 3:00 PM
R12 is right there in the part name, so that's the refrigerant this fitting is built around. It's part of the Danfoss/Eaton E-Z Clip System for A/C refrigeration applications, and the charge port is specifically configured for R12 service. If you're running a different refrigerant, you'd want to verify compatibility before pulling the trigger on this one.

trying to swap out an old A/C hose end, is this one the 90 degree female o-ring short pilot style with a charge port?
Question by: Sheila W on Jun 3, 2025, 2:48 PM
For that setup, you’re looking at a 90 degree elbow that uses a female O-ring connection with a short pilot, and this part includes an R12 charge port with 7/16-20 threads.
