Product Questions & Answers

Will this fitting hold up to the kind of vibration you get on heavy equipment?
Question by: Sherry S on Apr 29, 2025, 3:26 PM
Dura-Kote plating helps these fittings resist corrosion, and the design should extend the life of your hose assemblies, even with vibration.

does this fitting work with SAE 100R5 hose, or is it only for certain crimp setups?
Question by: Sheila K on Oct 28, 2025, 7:23 AM
Carbon steel construction and a crimp-style end sized at dash 32 make this a solid match for 100R5 hose assemblies. The NPTF male thread on the other end gives you a pressure-rated pipe connection, and the Dura-Kote plating helps hold up against corrosion in environments where that matters. As long as your crimp tooling is set up for the dash 32 size, you should be in good shape putting this into a standard 100R5 assembly.

got a hose that’s -32 dash, is this fitting the right size for it
Question by: Gene S on Apr 8, 2025, 1:54 PM
For hose fit, it’s set up for a -32 hose dash size, so it matches a -32 hose.
