trying to match up an old hose end, is this the one with a male NPTF on one side and a crimp end for a -6 hose on the other?

On the threaded side, you are getting a male NPTF end with a 0.375 in end size. The other end is the line, hose, tube connection made for 100R5 crimp style, and the hose dash size called out for this fitting is -6.
