does the swivel on this fitting actually help much during install, or is it more of a nice-to-have thing?
Question by: Lee C on Jul 24, 2025, 6:04 AM
For tight spaces and awkward routing, the swivel makes a real difference. Instead of twisting the hose to get the fitting to seat right, you can hold the hose steady and let the swivel end rotate to find its position. On a busy assembly where you're working around other lines, that freedom of movement saves time and cuts down on strain at the connection point.

got a hose that takes a -8 female JIC swivel, is this the right kind of end for that?
Question by: Dwight W on Nov 15, 2025, 3:25 PM
For JIC 37 degree connections, this fitting uses an SAE 37 female swivel on the hose end, with an -8 end size listed as 0.75. It is a crimp fitting assembly intended for hose assemblies.
