what's the material on this fitting, and is the SAE 45 end the female side?
Question by: Tommy S on Jan 11, 2026, 6:23 PM
Carbon steel on the body, and yes, the SAE 45 end is female. The other end connects to line, hose, or tube. End size on that SAE 45 side is 0.875, and the hose dash size runs -10. It's a nipple assembly, so both connections are handled in one piece without needing extra adapters stacked in between.
