Product Questions & Answers

What kind of hose is this fitting designed to work with?
Question by: Wes F on Apr 4, 2026, 3:21 PM
It's made to fit Eaton Aeroquip's Ez Clip permanent assembly system, specifically for hose assemblies in climate control and refrigeration.

fitting's got a 45-degree angle on it -- does that short pilot design actually help when you're working in a tight spot under the dash on an A/C system?
Question by: Judy A on Aug 5, 2025, 5:34 PM
Compact routing is exactly where this fitting earns its keep. The short pilot keeps the overall profile tighter than a standard pilot would, and combined with the 45-degree elbow, you get an angled connection that doesn't stick out as far into the surrounding space. For under-dash A/C work or anywhere the hose needs to change direction without a lot of room to swing, that combination makes a real difference in how cleanly the assembly lays out.

got a -16 hose on an ez clip setup, will this fitting match up or am i barking up the wrong tree
Question by: Dwayne B on Jul 30, 2025, 7:44 AM
The key callouts are a -16 hose dash size connection and a female UNF end with a 7/8 inch thread size. It is part of Eaton Aeroquip’s Ez Clip permanent assembly system, so it’s meant to be used in that style of hose assembly.
