got a -12 A/C hose setup, is this elbow the right one for it or am i barking up the wrong tree
Question by: Dustin H on Jun 23, 2025, 6:06 AM
For a -12 hose dash size A/C refrigeration line, this fitting matches that hose size and is built as an Eaton Aeroquip E-Z Clip nipple assembly with a 90 degree elbow. It also uses a female O-ring short pilot connection and includes an R134a low-side charge port, so it fits that style of refrigerant line assembly.

Running R134a lines on a mobile A/C setup and need a 90-degree elbow with a low-side charge port built in. this fitting do all that in one piece?
Question by: Ray S on Jan 12, 2026, 9:24 PM
For that kind of setup, yeah, it handles both in a single fitting. The elbow gives you the 90-degree turn you need for tight routing, and the low-side charge port is already integrated, so you're not adding a separate Schrader or tee into the line. It's a nipple assembly built for the Eaton Aeroquip E-Z Clip system, compatible with -12 hose dash size and an SAE 45 end type. Carbon steel construction, so it holds up in mobile environments where things get knocked around. The female O-ring short pilot connection keeps the seal tight on the refrigerant side.

How sturdy is this thing if I'm using it on a refrigeration line that sees a good amount of vibration?

Constructed from carbon steel, this fitting is designed to hold up in demanding service environments, offering durability for refrigerant line assemblies, even where vibration is a factor.
