got a SAF-11 filter assembly already. is this head the right one for it or am i barking up the wrong tree

Built for the SAF-11 series filter assemblies, this head is meant to be the mounting and flow control interface for that SAF-11 setup.

SAF-11 series filter assemblies are exactly what this head is built to pair with, so yes, it should match up without any modification. The port connections are -12 SAE, which is a pretty standard size in most hydraulic setups, so getting it plumbed into an existing line shouldn't give you much trouble.
