The filter element on this unit is rated at 10 micron, and the filler cap is chrome plated steel. Airflow capacity runs at 16 SCFM, so it moves a decent volume while still keeping contaminants out of the reservoir during filling and normal tank breathing.

On a hydraulic reservoir, a filler-breather combines the fill point with a breather element so the tank can exchange air as fluid level changes while filtering that incoming air. This one is a STAUFF unit with a 10 micron breather and a chrome plated steel cap.
