Product Questions & Answers

got a flange on one side and an sae 37 on the other, right? just making sure before i order
Question by: Scott S on Mar 11, 2026, 8:59 PM
On this adapter, end type 1 is a flanged connection and end type 2 is an SAE 37 degree male end. It is a 90 degree sweep elbow style, so it turns the line while transitioning between those two end types.

reckon this'll hold up in a chemical plant environment, or should I be lookin' at somethin' else?
Question by: Keith H on May 8, 2025, 6:44 PM
Dura-Kote plating gives this adapter good corrosion resistance, so it should be suitable for chemical processing applications.

Got a sweep elbow that needs to hold up in a marine environment, does the coating on this one actually do anything or is it just cosmetic?
Question by: Tommy B on Jan 27, 2026, 9:16 AM
Dura-Kote plating on this adapter is a real corrosion barrier, not a decorative finish. Carbon steel fittings in marine or offshore environments take a beating from moisture and salt exposure, and the plating is specifically what makes this one rated for those conditions. It's also listed for chemical processing and food and beverage applications, so the corrosion resistance has to do real work across a range of environments, not just on paper.
