Product Questions & Answers

What kind of environments can this adapter handle, like harsh ones?
Question by: Ray T on Jan 17, 2026, 8:58 PM
This Eaton Aeroquip adapter is built to withstand tough conditions. Its Dura-Kote plating gives it superior corrosion resistance, making it suitable for marine, military, chemical processing, pulp and paper, food and beverage processing, and even off-shore drilling applications.

Got a line running ORS fittings throughout and need a straight adapter to step up from a 6 to a 12, this part do that?
Question by: Glen W on Feb 14, 2026, 1:23 PM
Male ORS on one end at 0.6875 inches, female ORS on the other in size 12, straight configuration. That's exactly the kind of size transition this adapter handles while keeping you within an all-ORS system. Both ends stay on the same thread type, so no mixing standards at the connection point.

got a hose end with a 0.6875 male ORS, will this adapter let me go straight into a female ORS port without any funky angle to it?
Question by: Wayne J on Apr 15, 2025, 9:26 PM
Straight-through layout is what it’s built for, with a 0.6875 inch male ORS on one side and a female ORS on the other, so it’s meant to connect ORS to ORS in a straight adapter configuration.
