Product Questions & Answers

Been trying to track down a replacement adapter for a marine hydraulic line setup and keep running into dead ends. This one got an ORS male on one end and ORS female on the other, right, and it runs at a 90 degree angle?
Question by: Kent C on Jun 25, 2025, 9:52 PM
Correct on all counts. One end is ORS male, the other is ORS female, and the body angles at 90 degrees between them. It's rated to SAE J1453 and built specifically for the kind of tough environments marine setups throw at hardware, so corrosion resistance is baked into the construction with Dura-Kote plating over carbon steel. Drop dimension runs 2.29 inches and the hex size is 1.87 inches if you need to confirm fitment before ordering.

trying to swap out an elbow on a line, is this one ORS male on one end and ORS female on the other, both size 20?
Question by: Ronnie M on Dec 17, 2025, 9:25 AM
Function-wise, it is a 90 degree elbow adapter with an ORS male connection on one end and an ORS female connection on the other, and it is labeled as size 20 on both ends.

Reckon this'll hold up okay in a chemical plant environment? We got all sorts of stuff in the air.
Question by: Gene P on Mar 4, 2026, 11:35 AM
Dura-Kote plating helps it resist corrosion, which is a big plus around chemicals. It's made from carbon steel too, so it should be pretty sturdy.
