Product Questions & Answers

What kind of environments is this adapter actually built for? We run equipment in some pretty rough conditions and need something that ain't gonna corrode out on us.
Question by: Wes C on Jan 10, 2026, 10:57 AM
Carbon steel construction with Dura-Kote plating gives it solid corrosion resistance well beyond what standard SAE-rated fittings offer. It was developed with demanding applications in mind, including marine, offshore drilling, chemical processing, and food and beverage environments. The plating is specifically what pushes the corrosion protection above typical SAE standards, so it holds up where cheaper fittings tend to fail early.

trying to swap out an old fitting, is this one ORS on both ends and straight through?
Question by: Wayne S on Aug 16, 2025, 9:18 PM
Built as a straight adapter with ORS male connections on both ends, it’s meant for joining two ORS female ports or hoses in a straight line.
