Dura-Kote plating for superior corrosion resistance|Design flexibility with hundreds of styles to choose from|Higher operating pressures above SAE standards
Does the Dura-Kote plating on this tee adapter hold up decent in wet or dirty environments, or is that more of a light-duty coating?
Question by: Wade R on Jul 21, 2025, 7:06 PM
Dura-Kote plating is specifically built for corrosion resistance in demanding conditions, so it handles exposure better than standard zinc or plain steel finishes. Carbon steel on its own would rust out fast in wet environments, but the Dura-Kote treatment is what makes this adapter suitable for harsher industrial use. It's not decorative coating. It's there to extend service life where moisture, grime, or chemical exposure is part of the job.

got a tee with three ORS male ends, are all the ports on this one 1 inch or is one of em different

All three ends are ORS male and all three are listed as 1 inch end size, so it is a straight 1 inch by 1 inch by 1 inch tee.
