Product Questions & Answers

got a skid steer with a busted female coupler on the hydraulic line, threads are -8 SAE and the coupling size is -06. this the right replacement?
Question by: Shawn A on Mar 8, 2026, 12:38 PM
For a -06 coupling with -8 SAE female threads, yes, that lines up exactly with what this part is spec'd for. The female half connects via Push-to-Connect latching on the coupling side and picks up the -8 SAE thread on the port end. Sleeve lock keeps it from backing out on its own during operation, which matters on a skid steer where things move around a lot. Seal material is NBR plus polyurethane, rated from -13°F up to 212°F, so standard outdoor working conditions aren't going to be a problem.

got a hydraulic tool that uses the 3/8 HTMA style couplers, is this female half gonna swap in without a bunch of fuss?
Question by: Rex H on Nov 24, 2025, 2:03 PM
For HTMA style hookups in the 3/8 size, it is meant to interchange and it follows ISO 16028 dimensions. It is the female socket half in the FF Series, with a -06 coupling size and a sleeve lock to help prevent an accidental pull-off.

Will this fitting work with standard hydraulic fluid, or do I need something special?
Question by: Norm W on May 16, 2025, 9:08 AM
Designed with NBR+AU seals, this quick disconnect is good to go with standard hydraulic fluids within a temperature range of -13°F to +212°F.
