got a older rig running htma couplings in 3/8 size. need to know if this socket matches up and what kinda threads it takes

Since it follows the standard HTMA interface for the 3/8-inch size, it will couple right up to your existing setup. The back end of the socket takes standard 3/8-18 NPT female threads for connecting to your lines.

Full interchangeability with HTMA couplings in the 3/8 inch size is built right into this coupling's design. It also meets the ISO 16028 dimensional standard, which covers sizes from 1/4 to 1 inch, so it fits within a pretty widely adopted interface spec. If your existing equipment uses HTMA-compatible connections at that size, this female half will mate up correctly.
