trying to swap out a -06 quick connect on a hydraulic tool line. is this the male half with 3/4-16 NPT female threads?

This is the male half (plug) in the FF Series, size -06, and it has 3/4-16 NPT female threads on the threaded end. It is a flush face, push-to-connect style coupling.

does this thing work on agricultural equipment or is it more of a construction-grade fitting
