got a 3/8 female NPT port on a small hydraulic block and need to run a JIC line off it, this the right adapter for that?

For a 3/8-18 female NPT port feeding into a 5/16-24 male JIC 37 degree flare connection, yeah, that's exactly what this part bridges.
