Got a hydraulic line coming off a pump with a 3/8 female NPT port and I need to connect it to a 3/4-16 JIC fitting on the other end, this the right adapter for that?

That's what this one's built for. The female end is 3/8-18 NPT and the male end is 3/4-16 JIC with the standard 37-degree flare seat, so it bridges those two thread types in a single straight adapter. No additional fittings needed in between.
