got a hose with a 1-5/8-12 JIC female on it, will this adapter screw right in and give me a 1-1/4 NPT female on the other side?

Function-wise, it is a straight steel adapter that mates a 1-5/8-12 male JIC 37 degree flare end to a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPTF end. If your hose end is a 1-5/8-12 JIC female swivel, it will thread onto the male JIC side, and the other end gives you the 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPTF connection.

It's an Eaton Aeroquip 2022 Series straight adapter, so it's built for demanding environments where a solid, leak-resistant connection between a 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPT port and a 1-5/8-12 male JIC 37-degree flare is needed. If your system runs any of those processes, this is a well-established fit.

Connects an NPTF internal pipe thread on one side to an SAE 37 degree JIC flare male on the other. The thread callouts on this one are 1-1/4-11-1/2 female NPT and 1-5/8-12 male JIC, and it’s a straight (not elbow) adapter.
