Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this fitting would work for diagnostic testing on my tractor's hydraulics?
Question by: Lance M on Mar 13, 2026, 2:40 PM
Absolutely, these FD90 series quick disconnects are made for diagnostic pressure testing of hydraulic systems.
Answer by: Customer Support on Mar 15, 2026, 6:31 AM
does this thing work for checking pressure on a hydraulic system without having to crack a line open? asking because we do a lot of diagnostic work and fluid loss is always a headache
Question by: Duane R on Jun 25, 2025, 6:38 PM
Flush face valving on this coupling keeps fluid loss down to 0.10 cubic centimeter per connection cycle, and air inclusion stays at 0.02 cubic centimeter. That makes it well suited for diagnostic pressure testing without the mess and air contamination you get from cracking lines. The push-to-connect sleeve locks with one hand, so you can get in and out of tight spots without needing two people on the job.

Will this fitting hold up for hydraulic diagnostic work on farm equipment?
Question by: Dwayne W on Mar 3, 2026, 12:07 PM
This FD90 series coupling is designed specifically for diagnostic pressure testing in hydraulic systems, which would include farm equipment. It's rated to handle disconnection under pressure up to 500 psi.

does this thing disconnect under pressure or do you have to bleed the system down first before pulling it apart
Question by: Keith F on Jan 19, 2026, 8:41 PM
You can disconnect it under pressure, up to 500 psi. The self-sealing valve handles that without needing to relieve the system first. Fluid loss on disconnect is minimal too, rated at 0.10 cubic centimeters, so you're not making a mess every time you pull it.
