FC8779-1616-333 is a crimp-style nipple assembly built for JIC swivel connections at a 16 size. Crimp fittings like this one get permanently attached to hydraulic hose ends using a crimping machine, so once it's on, it's on. The JIC swivel end lets it connect to a mating JIC port while allowing some rotational movement during assembly, which makes lining things up a whole lot easier in tight spaces or awkward hydraulic connections runs.
