Product Questions & Answers

does this hose work with R134a and the older refrigerants like R12 and R22, or is it just rated for the newer stuff?
Question by: Marvin H on Nov 25, 2025, 1:44 PM
Compatible with R12, R22, R134a, R502, MP39, and MP66, so it covers both legacy and newer refrigerant types without needing separate hoses for different systems. The nylon veneer tube and EPDM cover are built to handle that range, and it carries SAE J51 certification on top of exceeding SAE J2064 requirements. For a -6 dash size line in transportation or refrigeration work, that multi-refrigerant compatibility is one of the main reasons this hose gets spec'd in mixed fleets.
