what size hose does this fitting work with, and is it one of them reusable types or do I gotta crimp it on?

Built for a -16 dash size hose, and yes, it's part of the Aeroquip Reuse line, so you're not looking at a crimp-style assembly. That means you can take it apart and put it back together without needing special crimping equipment, which saves real time on the shop floor. The connection end is a female SAE 37-degree JIC swivel, so it needs to mate up with a standard JIC male fitting on the system side.
