got a hose with a -4 dash, is this the right nipple assy for it?

What kind of corrosion protection does this fitting have? Running equipment outdoors and rust has been a real problem with cheaper fittings we've tried before.

Dura-Kote plating is what sets this one apart from bare steel fittings. It's an Eaton Aeroquip-specific coating applied to the carbon steel body that gives it significantly better resistance to corrosion compared to uncoated alternatives. If you've been fighting rust on standard fittings in outdoor or wet conditions, this should hold up a good deal better over time.
