got a rusty setup on a machine that sees a lot of moisture. is this flange half gonna hold up better than plain steel

These flanges made from ductile iron or something else? Trying to make sure we're not putting the wrong material into a high-pressure line.

Ductile iron is exactly what these are made from. That material handles the mechanical stress of high-pressure hydraulic applications better than standard cast iron, and combined with the Dura-Kote plating, you're also getting solid corrosion resistance on top of that. For demanding hydraulic lines, that combination holds up well.
