got a 1-1/8 inch thru-hull fitting, is this hose gonna slip over it right or am i fighting it

It matches a 1.125 inch inside diameter and is intended for shank type fittings like brass or stainless. It is also noted as no cuffs required, which helps when sliding it onto the fitting shank.

hose is see-through right? trying to figure out if I can watch for flow without cutting into the line

Clear vinyl construction runs the full length of the hose, so yes, you can visually monitor flow right through the wall. The black helix is structural and runs along the outside, but the body itself stays transparent. Works well for bilge and live well lines where checking for debris or flow interruption matters without having to disconnect anything.
