Got a recessed port situation where the standard bushing just ain't got enough reach. this one longer than usual or same body as the regular version?

Extended body is exactly what sets this apart. At 27.7mm overall length, it gives you more reach than a standard-length bushing would in that same G 1/8 - 28 configuration. If you're working around a counterbored or recessed port where a shorter bushing bottoms out before it can engage properly, this is the right call.
