Product Questions & Answers

hose says it works for plaster and grout, but we also run sand through ours pretty regular. that gonna hold up alright with this one?
Question by: Hubert P on Oct 30, 2025, 7:23 PM
Sand is actually listed as one of the intended materials for this hose, so you're covered there. The tube is natural rubber, which handles abrasive slurry-type materials, and the reinforcement includes high-tensile synthetic textile along with an anti-static copper wire braid. For high-pressure spraying work involving sand, grout, or plaster, this hose was built with exactly that kind of duty in mind. Working pressure is rated at 1230 PSI, so as long as you're operating within that range, it should handle your mix of materials without issue.

got a plaster pump setup, is this hose actually meant for pushing grout and ready mix, or is it more for general hydraulic oil
Question by: Scott S on Jan 22, 2026, 12:00 PM
For your kind of setup, it’s a material handling hose meant for high pressure spraying plaster, grout, sand, gypsum, and ready mixed concrete. The tube is natural rubber, and it’s built with high tensile synthetic textile plus an anti static copper wire for reinforcement.

does this hose hold up to the anti-static requirements when your running it through spray equipment all day long?
Question by: Harvey S on Jan 20, 2026, 9:03 AM
Built into the reinforcement layer is an anti-static copper wire, which runs the length of the hose to help dissipate static charge during continuous spraying use. That feature, combined with the high-tensile synthetic textile reinforcement, makes it a solid fit for sustained use with materials like plaster, grout, and gypsum through spray equipment.
