does this tubing hold up if it's running somewhere it might get rubbed on pretty regular, like along a frame rail?

Premium abrasion resistance is one of the stronger points of this tubing. It's built from 100% polyamide with a synthetic fiber reinforcement, so contact with frame rails or other surfaces that create repeated friction isn't going to wear through it quickly. That construction is part of why it gets used in formed air brake harness assemblies where routing often puts the tubing up against metal edges or brackets.
