Product Questions & Answers

got a tight spot to snake a hose through, how sharp can this -20 line bend without kinkin?
Question by: Ross R on Mar 4, 2026, 9:05 AM
Minimum bend radius on the EC415-20L is 16.54, so you will want to keep your routing at or above that radius to avoid stressing the hose.

got a -20 line to replace. is EC415-20L the same dash size, and what standard is it built to?
Question by: Phil A on Apr 27, 2025, 10:19 AM
Fit-wise, EC415-20L is a -20 dash size hose, and it’s built to SAE 100R12 and EN856 Type R12.

Does this hose hold up running petroleum-based fluid through it day in and day out, or is it more of a light-duty setup?
Question by: Roger W on May 11, 2025, 8:51 AM
Petroleum-based hydraulic fluid is exactly what this hose is built around. The synthetic rubber tube and four-spiral wire reinforcement are rated for continuous hydraulic service, and the impulse cycle life comes in at 500,000 cycles, so it handles sustained, high-demand use without issue. It also works with water-based fluids if your system runs that way.

Will this hose work with regular hydraulic fluid, or does it need somethin' special?
Question by: Lynn K on Jan 2, 2026, 7:45 AM
Application-wise, it's designed for hydraulic systems using both petroleum and water-based fluids, so regular hydraulic fluid should be just fine.
