Product Questions & Answers

hose says it's got a 200,000 cycle impulse life, is that enough for a heavy-duty hydraulic press running pretty much all day?
Question by: Tommy F on Sep 19, 2025, 6:21 PM
For continuous or near-continuous duty cycles, 200,000 impulse cycles is a solid benchmark and meets what most industrial hydraulic press setups demand. The 2-ply wire braid construction and synthetic rubber tube are built to hold up under repeated pressure swings, and the EC215 series is rated for the highest working pressures in its class. That said, the actual calendar life you see will depend on your system's cycle frequency, so a press hammering through cycles faster will burn through that number sooner than one running at a moderate pace.

What's the smallest I can bend this without kinking it?
Question by: Hugh T on Nov 7, 2025, 4:26 PM
You're looking at an 11.81 inch minimum bend radius on this hose.

got a tight run on a machine and don’t wanna kink the line, how tight can this EC215-24L hose bend?
Question by: Gary J on Oct 9, 2025, 11:34 AM
For routing, the minimum bend radius on the EC215-24L is 11.81 inches. Keeping your bend at or above that radius helps prevent kinking and protects the hose structure.
