what's the cut length on this hose, is it actually sold by the foot or does it come as a full 50ft piece?

It comes as a 50-foot cut length, so you're getting the full 50 feet as a single piece. It's not sold by the foot individually. If your job calls for a specific shorter run, you'd be cutting it down yourself from that 50-foot section.
