This fitting is configured with a low side charge port specifically for R134a refrigerant.

No power tools needed at all. The whole system closes down with a pair of clip closing pliers, specifically the FT1357 model. You cut the hose square, slip two clips onto the end, oil the nipple good with compressor oil, push the nipple in flush to the shoulder, snap the cage into its groove, slide the clips over the cage arms, and squeeze them shut with the pliers. That's the whole job. It was built for situations where dragging out a crimping machine just isn't practical.
