Will this fitting work with a standard -08 hose?

does this fitting work for A/C hose assemblies or is it strictly for hydraulic lines?

Refrigeration and A/C systems are exactly what this fitting is built around. The nipple comes pre-installed with two black O-rings made from a specific rubber compound suited for those environments, and the assembly process calls for refrigeration or A/C compressor oil during installation. It is not a general-purpose hydraulic fitting. Pair it with GH134 Multi-Refrigerant hose and the appropriately sized clips and cage, and you have got a connection built for that kind of system.

got a -08 hose and need a 90 to tuck it in tight. is this the short pilot female o-ring one with 5/8-18 threads?
