trying to replace a 90 degree fitting on my -06 A/C hose, what do i need to match up on this one?

Match the hose size and the threaded end details. This is a 90 degree elbow for a -06 hose, and the female O-ring end is 5/8-18 with a short pilot. The other end is the line, hose, or tube side.

putting together a new AC line and need to know if i gotta use a special crimper for these ez clips or if regular pliers work

You have to use the FT1357 Clip Closing Pliers to secure these fittings. Regular pliers will not keep the connection points perfectly square during closing. That square alignment is required to prevent leaks and ensure a safe assembly. Remember to also lubricate the nipple heavily with your AC system compressor oil before pushing it into the hose.
